How We Work

SPG has a unique, proprietary approach to solution design

Our approach helps clients gain clarity around their needs, balances security with lifestyle, defines solution design strategy, and provides a roadmap for implementation.

Discovery led by intelligence

Client needs analysis goes beyond physical requirements. It looks at each case through the eyes of an adversary, uncovering gaps of vulnerability and how they might be exploited. In residential and property security, for example, a thorough intelligence assessment will consider the local threat landscape, client-specific risk factors and the protection of client confidentiality in system monitoring.

A nuanced balance of security and lifestyle

Review findings are not imposed on solution design. They are viewed from the complementary perspectives of security needs and each client’s unique cultural and lifestyle preferences. This ensures that solution design supports our client’s patterns of life, without curtailing them. It balances, for example, the need for overt and covert security, local and global contexts, private and business protection, and the public profile and personal privacy of clients.

Our solutions combine the collective expertise of in-house experts in the fields of intelligence, cyber and technology systems, operations, protection and automation systems. By understanding the interplay of these different facets of security, we connect the dots and eliminate vulnerability gaps in our recommendations to clients.

Implementation design across security capabilities

Our approach to implementation is product and supplier agnostic. Solution recommendations can be implemented by SPG and our network of trusted suppliers or by client-preferred vendors, with appropriate security vetting and project oversight. The advantage of in-house implementation is that it provides a holistic approach across all elements of client solutions with the highest level of integrity assurance.
