Our Field Operatives, Residential Security Teams (RST) and Close Protection (CP) Agents provide personal protection, secure driving, and protection of client properties and assets

SPG Field Operatives are hand-selected and SPG-trained for the complex security requirements of UHNW and high-risk individuals. Many have extensive formal training in elite military units, policing, dignitary protection, and intelligence and counter-terrorism.

Field Operatives are discreet, professional and calm under pressure. They are selected for their intellect and emotional intelligence – understanding the need to balance security with our clients’ lifestyles, preferences and environment – building trust and continuity in their work with clients.

Specialised capabilities for specific needs

Depending on the needs and risk profile of the individual, family, or organisation, SPG provides specialised operatives across close personal protection, either locally or travelling abroad; for residential, commercial and asset protection; and for security driving for executives, individuals and their families.

Intelligence-led field operations

In addition to situational risk assessments, our operatives receive briefings from SPG’s Intelligence analysts, ensuring that protection covers every detail – from advance planning through to operational contingencies for emergencies.

SPG operatives develop a deep understanding of client routines and preferences. Whether accompanying principals to events or on global travel, discreetly meeting and screening guests at the front door, or taking a client’s children to school – their interactions build long-term, trusted relationships.

Situationally aware secure driving

Trained in situational awareness and able to think quickly at all times, security drivers are constantly scanning ahead – anticipating threats, taking preventative measures and adjusting routes to minimise client exposure.

Property protection inside and out

In addition to securing perimeters and safeguarding assets, SPG Residential Property Teams (RST) are trained in security system monitoring and incident response protocols, including secure rooms, lockdown procedures, and protection of occupants.

Fully integrated with SPG’s 24/7 GSOC

Field Operatives are directly connected to our 24/7 Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC). In the event of incidents or emergencies, GSOC is immediately notified and coordinates the response of our operatives, police and medical first responders.

Close Personal Protection
(CPP)

Discreet and professional protective support for individuals exposed to elevated personal risk, delivered across daily movements, public appearances, events, and domestic or international travel.

High Risk Team
(HRT)

A dedicated armed capability for elevated-risk environments, focused on the protection of critical assets, sensitive locations, and high-risk operations through specially selected and appropriately licensed operatives.

Residential Security Teams
(RST)

Dedicated security presence for homes, estates, and private premises, focused on access control, perimeter security, monitoring, and the protection of residents, staff, and property.

Security Driving
(SD)

Protective transport services delivered by trained security drivers, supporting safe and efficient movement for executives, individuals, and families in both routine and heightened-risk environments.

Crisis & Emergency Response
