Properties & Assets

Designed for protection.

Risk assessment and security infrastructure design for residences and high-value assets, family offices and at-risk organisations

SPG provides physical infrastructure designs for client properties and high-value assets, for family offices and at-risk organisations, as well as maritime and aviation assets, both locally and globally.

We consider the bigger picture – how physical security integrates with overarching security design – and ensure that every detail is meticulously thought through in the context of each client’s unique risk profile and lifestyle.

Areas of expertise

We view infrastructure security and asset protection through the lens of a malign actor – uncovering gaps of vulnerability and how they might be exploited.

Every detail – from the placement of cameras to the ventilation systems of Safe Rooms – is part of an integrated approach to needs analysis, solution design and implementation.

SPG property and asset security can include specialist design of safe rooms, security protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assurance programs for security providers and vendors.

Intelligence-led infrastructure design
Led by intelligence – which considers factors including public profile and local threat landscape – we provide system design, implementation, and maintenance of security infrastructure. This can include intrusion detection technologies – optimised by machine learning and licence plate recognition (LPR) – and CCTV systems with proactive monitoring, and system analytics and reporting.
Independent, client-specific advisory
Driven by client need and patterns of life – not by specific products – we provide risk assessments and advisory recommendations for infrastructure security design. This includes technologies (such as security systems and monitoring), physical barriers (such as windows and doors, safe rooms and secure storage), as well as security personnel and human resources.
Integrated field operations capability
As part of a layered approach to physical security, and where warranted, we design operational plans and protocols for the provision of Residential Security Teams (RST), property patrols and field response services.
24/7 SPG monitoring and field coordination
SPG offers the capability of 24/7 monitoring of physical infrastructure security through our Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC). Staffed by in-house analysts and operators, GSOC provides a central hub for early threat detection and coordination of responders in the field.
Embedded teams and Heads of security
For businesses requiring dedicated embedded capability, SPG can provide embedded security operatives, Heads of Security, or Lead Agents – helping to strengthen security models, overseeing the strategic and tactical operational requirements of a client asset, coordinating teams and maintaining consistent standards across a client asset in line with the operational standards of SPG.

Protecting properties and assets is more than just physical

It begins with independent, product-agnostic advice and considers everything from infrastructure design to integration of in-field operations, and 24/7 monitoring and coordination through SPG’s Global Security Operations Centre.

Thinking outside the walls

Protecting property and assets is no longer the domain of walls and safes. It requires a strategic approach – proportionate to individual client risk profiles and patterns of life – and a whole-of-security perspective, from big-picture thinking down to the smallest of details.

Crisis & Emergency Response

At SPG, planning and responding to crises involves more than alarms and call centres. It is a collaborative undertaking that draws on expertise across many facets of security.

Intelligence plays a leading role in assessing the threat landscape and providing live, real-time updates as incidents unfold; SPG’s 24/7 Global Operations Centre is the hub for client contact and response coordination; and our highly trained field operatives, who are often first on the scene.

Properties & Assets

The protection of property and valuable assets extends beyond alarm systems and security guards. Our interconnected world – and the rapid rise of AI – has created sophisticated deepfakes and social engineering exploits, opening new pathways of vulnerability.

Countering these emerging threats requires a holistic understanding of the interplay between different facets of security – led by intelligence and informed by collaborative security perspectives and capabilities.

Cyber & Technology Systems

Security threats have become more than just a series of isolated incidents. Online forums and the dark web, interconnected devices and social engineering, cryptocurrency crime and geopolitical currents – all spill over into a constantly evolving threat landscape.

For our clients, protecting personal safety, properties and assets requires a more nuanced understanding of this complexity – led by intelligence and informed by collaborative security perspectives and capabilities.

Family & Executive Protection

Family & Executive Protection does not operate in isolation. The realities of modern risk sit across personal routine, public and corporate profile, online exposure, properties, travel and organisational obligations.

At SPG, we recognise the inter-connectedness of all these aspects of security and how they work together to protect families and executives.

24/7 Global Security Operations Centre

Designed to integrate across the SPG ecosystem, GSOC functions as the central command and communications hub, enabling a unified and holistic view of security.

Field Operations

Field Operations is most effective when it is integrated — supported by intelligence, aligned with property and technology systems, and coordinated through a single command and communications hub.

At SPG, operatives on the ground are part of a wider capability set that closes gaps between prevention, response and resolution.

Intelligence

At SPG, everything we do is led by intelligence. Rather than existing as a separate discipline, it is the connecting tissue that informs all facets of our work with clients.

It is not a static entity - it evolves constantly, aligned with today's threat landscape and technology and anticipating tomorrow's needs before they arrive.
